The Deaconess Ministry serves under the leadership and spiritual direction of the Pastor and is governed by his leadership and the church through prayer, support, encouragement and fellowship. The Deaconess Ministry's main purpose is to provide active support for the two ordinances of the church, Baptism and Holy Communion. The Deaconess Ministry's goals are to mentor the young women of the church/community, comfort those in mourning and distress, and to also visit/assist the sick and needy.

“I commend  unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: That you may receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also." (Romans 16:1, 2, KJV).
